Founded in January 1988 by the Andreoni family, Elcond is a company that has distinguished itself over time for its ability to adapt and grow in a constantly evolving market. Since its inception, Elcond has pursued excellence in the cable manufacturing sector, building solid foundations thanks to values such as quality, innovation and dedication.
OUR ORIGINS
In 1991 , the company made an important strategic change, becoming a specialized manufacturer of cables for the security sector.
This step marks the beginning of a path towards technological and commercial leadership alongside Mrs. Lia and her children Dennis and Sonia, founders of the company.
Two years later, in 1993 , the arrival of Mr. Adelio as commercial director brought new energy and strategic vision to the company.
In 1998 , Elcond adopted the ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System, strengthening its commitment to high standards of manufacturing excellence.
This step marks the beginning of collaborations that allow the company to successfully position itself in European markets.
A pivotal moment in Elcond's history came in 2002 , with the passing of Mrs. Lia.
This event leads to significant changes in the company organization chart: Mr. Adelio takes on the role of general manager, continuing to perform the functions of technical director; his son Dennis becomes commercial director, while his son-in-law Claudio takes on the responsibility of production director.
GROWTH AND EXPANSION
NEW CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
With the advent of the market crisis in 2009 , Elcond adapts to the change and finds a positive side: a transformation strategy is implemented, with a focus on the production of highly specific cables for foreign customers with higher quality requirements.
Thanks to this choice, in 2012 the company consolidated its presence in the European market, establishing itself as a reference supplier for cables intended for data and signal transmission.
In 2013 , Elcond expanded its product range to include cables for the audio/video sector, responding to the requests of leading companies in the sector with increasingly customized solutions.
Thanks to this production flexibility, the company successfully overcomes the crisis period in 2014 and welcomes Nicolò, the founders' grandson, into the team in the role of Technical Manager. His presence allows to further strengthen the consulting and assistance services for projects of all sizes
In 2017 , Elcond responded to the new regulations in force by certifying some types of cables, thus offering increasingly controlled and superior quality products.
